Why do 90% of traders lose despite knowing technical analysis?
The market is not just charts and indicators. It’s primarily people – their fear, greed, hopes, and narratives. You can know RSI, MACD and every candlestick pattern, but if you don’t understand when the crowd is scared and when it’s euphoric, you will always buy the top and sell the bottom.
Course 29 is a deep dive into sentiment analysis – the only field that allows you to answer not “what is happening on the chart” but “what does the market feel and what will it do next”.
What will you learn?
This course is not academic theory. It’s a practical system built from 6 modules that move from the simplest fear indicators to advanced institutional flow.
Module 1: Fear & Greed, VIX, Put/Call Ratio You’ll understand the 7 components of the CNN Fear & Greed Index, learn to read VIX term structure (contango vs backwardation) and use Put/Call Ratio extremes as contrarian signals. You’ll learn VIX is not a fear gauge but the price of insurance.
Module 2: Social Sentiment - Twitter, Reddit, LunarCrush You’ll learn to measure hype in social media. How to distinguish organic growth from bot pumping? How to use LunarCrush, Santiment and StockTwits to detect narratives before they become mainstream? You’ll learn the Social Score formula and how to filter noise.
Module 3: Market Narratives - AI, Halving, Wars, ETFs The most powerful lesson of the course. You’ll understand the framework: Narrative -> Capital Flow -> Price -> Euphoria -> Exit. Why does the AI narrative pump NVIDIA by 300%? Why does Bitcoin halving always work the same way? How wars and ETFs create new trends and when a narrative dies.
Module 4: Dark Pools and Options Flow - DIX, GEX You will enter the world of “smart money”. What is DIX (Dark Index) and why does it show institutional accumulation? What is GEX (Gamma Exposure) and how does it create invisible walls in the market? You’ll understand the GameStop gamma squeeze and 0DTE options flow that now dominates S&P 500.
Module 5: AAII and COT - Retail vs Smart Money Sentiment You’ll compare retail sentiment (AAII Bull/Bear) with the positioning of real giants (COT Report). Why extreme bullish AAII is a sell signal, and record commercials shorts in COT is a buy signal.
Module 6: Sentiment Dashboard You will combine everything into one decision dashboard. You will create a checklist: when sentiment says DO NOT TRADE, when it says BUY FEAR, when SELL EUPHORIA. It will be your compass for every trading day.
Who is this course for?
- For technical traders who feel “something is missing” – they see patterns but enter too late.
- For crypto traders, where narratives and social sentiment are 80% of success.
- For stock investors who want to avoid buying companies at the top of a bull market.
- For options traders who must understand GEX and flow not to be run over by 0DTE.
- For anyone who lost money because “everyone was buying, so I did too”.
Prerequisites
You don’t need to be an expert. You just need:
- Basic knowledge of technical analysis (support/resistance, trend)
- Understanding of what a call/put option is (basic level)
- A TradingView account (free is enough)
- Openness to contrarian thinking
We don’t require programming, but we’ll show you how to automate the dashboard.
Why is this course different?
Most courses say: “buy when RSI < 30”. We say: “buy when RSI < 30 AND VIX >35 AND Put/Call >1.3 AND AAII Bears >60% AND Twitter is full of panic, while DIX is rising”.
That’s the difference between a signal and a high-quality contextual signal.
We don’t teach guessing. We teach measuring emotions with data.
What will you find in each lesson?
Each of the 6 lessons is 1500-2200 words of pure practice:
- SEO frontmatter and clear H1/H2/H3 structure
- LaTeX math formulas - e.g., VIX, GEX, Social Score
- Comparison tables - e.g., VIX contango vs backwardation
- Numerical examples in PLN + USD - we convert everything to your real account 10,000 PLN (
$2,500) and 50,000 PLN ($12,500) - Market case studies - GameStop 2021, COVID crash 2020, AI rally 2023-2024, BTC halving 2024
- Practical section: exercises, checklists, beginner mistakes, next steps
Final outcome
After completing the course you will be able to:
- Read fear/greed level in 5 minutes every morning
- Detect a narrative 2-3 weeks before its peak
- Understand where institutions are quietly buying (DIX) and where gamma barriers are (GEX)
- Avoid trading on days when sentiment says “it’s a trap”
- Build your own sentiment dashboard in TradingView / Excel / Notion
How much time do you need?
The course is about 14 hours of learning:
- 6 lessons x ~1.5h reading + exercises
- 2h to build your own dashboard
- 3h for backtests and live market observation
We recommend doing 1 lesson per day and immediately checking indicators live.
Sentiment is not magic. It’s data.
Fear and greed have their numbers. Euphoria has its standard deviations. Narratives have a lifecycle that can be measured.
If you want to stop being part of the crowd and start understanding it – this course is for you.
