Three rankings, one rule: we show the criteria

Most financial rankings hide two things: who paid and what the order was based on. Both are stated at the top here. Every entry has a published score, a list of sources and the catches written out — including the ones that work against the offer.

Six principles we stick to

01

Methodology before the list

Scores and weights are published before the first entry. You can score it differently and rebuild your own order from the same data.

02

“Not verified” instead of a guess

If a figure is not in the source, we write “not verified”. A ranking with gaps is more honest than a ranking with invented data.

03

The catches are part of the content

The karencja (lock-in period), the participant caps, the fee after the promotion and the marketing consents are not a footnote — they are the most important information in the comparison.

04

A source link against every entry

Every entry links to the operator’s official site, opened in a new tab, so that you can check the terms at the source without leaving the comparison.

05

A source for every claim

Regulations, amounts and fees carry a link to the operator’s document or page. Without a source, we do not publish.

06

A date instead of “up to date”

Every ranking has a research date, and fee schedules have a version. In finance, an amount without a date is useless.

Questions and answers

The most common questions about how we read the rankings and where the data comes from.

01 How is the order in the rankings decided?

Every ranking has its own published methodology with criterion weights and a total pool of 100 points. We assess brokers on six criteria: regulation and investor protection, product range and model, costs, Polish-language support, platform and education. Crypto exchanges: MiCA licence, liquidity, costs, security and PLN support. Bank promotions: the real bonus amount, the conditions, the fees after the promotion, the deadline and how clear the terms and conditions are. The score is shown against every entry.

02 Do you pay for a place in the ranking?

No. A place in the ranking follows solely from the score against the criteria described, not from any agreement. We do not accept payments for a place in a comparison. The order and the score are public against every entry, and the methodology is described separately for each ranking.

03 Where do the links next to the ranking entries lead?

Every link leads to the operator’s official site — the bank, the broker or the exchange — and opens in a new tab so that you do not lose your place in the comparison. Where an entity has no permission to serve new clients from Poland, we do not point you to registration, because for a new Polish client it could be impermissible. That is the case, for example, with exchanges that hold no MiCA licence.

04 Where does the data come from and how do you verify it?

From pages fetched directly from the operators, from regulator registers (KNF, CySEC, BaFin, Central Bank of Ireland, ESMA, FMA, MFSA, CSSF, AMF), and from information documents and fee schedules. Every entry carries a list of sources with links. If we could not confirm something, we say so plainly — “not verified” — and we do not fill the gaps with guesswork. The research date is given in the header of every ranking.

05 How often do you update the rankings?

Fee schedules and terms and conditions change several times a year, and bank promotions every quarter. The rankings carry a verification date, and for every entry we give the version of the fee schedule where the operator publishes one. Treat the comparison as a starting point for checking the source yourself, not as the last word — especially with offers that have a deadline.

06 Is the ranking an investment recommendation?

No. This is educational and comparative material. We do not provide investment advice within the meaning of the Polish Act on Trading in Financial Instruments (ustawa o obrocie instrumentami finansowymi) and we do not publish recommendations within the meaning of the MAR Regulation. We set out the facts, the costs and the risks so that you can compare offers yourself — the decision is yours, and yours to answer for.

Legal notices

  1. 01

None of the published content constitutes an investment recommendation, investment research or a recommendation within the meaning of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council (MAR) and its implementing acts. Nor is it an offer to acquire or dispose of financial instruments or an invitation to submit offers. All examples, charts, screenshots and figures are illustrative and refer to hypothetical or historical situations.

  2. 02

Leveraged instruments (CFDs, futures, options, margin transactions) can generate losses exceeding the value of the funds paid in — you can lose more than you invested and be called to top up your margin (a margin call). In the European Union, leverage for retail clients trading CFDs on major currency pairs is restricted by a decision of ESMA (product intervention on CFDs and binary options), but restricting leverage does not remove the risk. The percentage of retail accounts making a loss differs between brokers and changes over time — read the current figure from the risk warning at your broker and record it together with the date.

  3. 03

The order of positions in the rankings reflects an editorial assessment against the criteria described in the methodology of that ranking and does not depend on any agreement with an operator. We do not accept payments for a place in a comparison. The existence of an affiliate programme may influence whether a given offer appears in a comparison at all, but it does not buy a place in the top three — the substantive assessment and the criteria remain transparent and described. We describe the monetisation model of the site in the footer.

  4. 04

Some of the links on the site are affiliate (partner) links. If you click such a link and open an account, make a deposit or sign up for a programme, the site's operator may receive a commission. The commission does not change the terms of the offer available to you and does not increase your costs — it is paid by the partner out of its own margin. The site also displays Google ads (AdSense). Ads do not influence the content of the materials or the order of positions in the rankings — no operator can buy that.

  5. 05

Offers, promotions and programmes described on the site may be available only to specific groups of recipients, in specific countries and for a specific time. The terms presented in the comparisons are illustrative and may differ from the current terms and conditions of the organiser. Always verify the terms directly at the source — at the bank, with the broker or on the exchange — before taking any action.

  6. 06

The names of brokers, banks, exchanges, platforms and financial products, and their logos, belong to their owners and are used solely for informational and identification purposes. We do not thereby suggest any affiliation with, patronage by or recommendation from those entities.

  7. 07

We publish the content with due care, but it may contain errors or inaccuracies, or be out of date — regulations, costs, interest rates and offer terms change without notice. The materials do not replace the information documents, terms and conditions, price lists or prospectuses provided by the given institution. To the fullest extent permitted by law we accept no liability for decisions taken on the basis of the site content or for damage resulting from them. This exclusion does not cover cases in which the exclusion of liability is impermissible (including damage caused intentionally and consumer rights arising from mandatorily applicable law).
